Third Islamic World Solidarity Rover Scout Gathering

The Gathering was organized by the International Union for Muslim Scouts from March 24th to April 3rd at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Makkah, Al-Madina and Jeddah).

Emarati Delegation Arrives to Jeddah airport

The opening ceremony was held in Makkah Sunday March 25th 2007 under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Omar Naseef, Chairman of the International Union for Muslim Scouts IUMS, and was attended by Dr. Atef Abdul-Majeed the Arab Regional Scout Director, AVM Ahmed Abdullatif Ahmed Chairman of the Egyptian Scout Federation and Arab Scout committee member, Dr. Zuhair Ghunaim the IUMS Secretary General and Mr. Hussain Sahal the IUMS Assistant Secretary General .

-         Performing Umrah for all of the participants.

-         Visits to:

-         Al-Kaaba Dress Factory.

-         Al-Haram Museum.

-         The Muslim World League.

-         Historical sites in makkah.

-         Jeddah City (beach and old market).

-         Zamzam Office and museum

-         Hajj Trip.

-         Lectures and seminars.

-         Free tours in Makkah, Madina and Jeddah for site seeing and shopping.

-         Cultural Activities.

-         The National Day (Cultural demonstration and show).

The closing ceremony was held in Al-Madina Monday April 2nd 2007 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdul-Aziz Bin Majid, Prince of Al-Madina Region and was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Omar Naseef, Chairman of the International Union for Muslim Scouts IUMS, Dr. Zuhair Ghunaim the IUMS Secretary General, Dr. Abdullah Al-Fahd Vice Chairman of Saudi Arabia Scout Association and Mr. Hussain Sahal the IUMS Assistant Secretary General.
